Semu Pessi (We are lost): "Semu Pessi" is the expression used to minimise something unpleasant or problematic. Sicilian people are aware of the difficulties, but they decide to face them with a bit of irony, the right compromise to keep their spirits up.
SEMU PESSI is a mix of Sicilian irony and wisdom in a simple t-shirt. More than just a typical expression, it is a philosophy of life embodied in two words. It represents the Sicilian attitude towards hardships and problems: they use sarcasm to face them, find a way to laugh at them, always trying to lighten their spirits.
