The name "Fautographie" comes from the French word "faute", which means "fault", and is Michele Di Donato's first photographic collection.
The book was written with Fabiola Di Maggio's critic contribution, PhD in European Cultural Studies, anthropologist of image, art curator and author of a number of papers and articles.
I Siciliani, Child, REM ā Rapid Eye Movement, Non luoghi, Theatre, Nightlife, Life in Nowhere Land: these are the projects which part of the book, observed through the perspective of a photography that focuses on faults. A risky approach that Michele explores gladly, convinced that it's there that the strength of the images is found, free from shading filters and ordinary looks.
Michele Di Donato is a photographer from Puglia, but Sicilian by adoption. If you wish to now more, you can check his page on our Artists section.
