Description
Record Label: Almendra Music
2014
Rondine is the first album by violinist Eloisa Manera. The title itself seems to suggest endless migrations and reflects the musician's eclectic talent. Eight tracks, between Jazz and Ambient, echoes of BartĂłk filtered by Steve Reich's minimalism, dialogues between urban field recordings and distant baroque atmospheres. A transversal approach, as varied as the many collaborations she explored in her work: Mark Feldman, Lang Lang, Herbie Hancock, Marlene Kuntz, ect.
