Panaru is the Sicilian name for basket, a container used to hold or carry things, typically made from interwoven stripes of cane and olive twigs. If you wish to know more about it, you can check our blog article “U panaru sicilianu”: a story about Sicily told by one of its traditional symbols.
PUTIA means shop/store in the Sicilian dialect and in the past it was a traditional artisan’s workshop or a place where you could find essential goods. Our project is to promote Sicilian creativity and handicraft and the work of young Sicilian artists.
