Strong trunks that almost look like they're made of rock rather than wood, roots and branches that seem to reach out, beyond the observer's field of view, the former going deep down into the ground, the latter almost stretching out of the paper, like arms.
Much more than mere trees, the alberi antropomorfi (anthropomorphic trees) by Stefania Cordone possess a sculpted physicality, shapes that look almost human and leave us in admiration, marking a stronger-than-ever bond between mankind and nature.
