Everybody who was born on an island, viscerally belongs to that land forever. At the same time, every time they look at the sea, getting lost in the horizon, they search for infinite hopes and possibilities, as if the sea could somehow hide and then suddenly reveal them.
The collection of jewels "Seabed" has its origin precisely in this search for the infinite, found in the story of Sicily, sung in myths and legends, among adventurous journeys and cultural contaminations, the tale of a rich and yet mysterious sea: the Mediterranean.
Roberto Intorre is an architect, a designer and a goldsmith who uses his creations to tell story of his land, Sicily. The blue of the sea, the red of the coral, the black of the lava stone or the green of the prickly pear. These are only some of the sources of inspirations behind his jewels. Each one of them has its birth, its story and identity, which is slowly shaped thanks to skilled hands and careful handicraft work.
