The pictures that belong to the "Borgo Vecchio" collection aim at promoting an area of Palermo that too often is associated with decay and petty crime. And yet, it's precisely in this area that a few years ago a group of street artists began to realise a number of artworks, taking what was abandoned and neglected and giving it back to the local community, which responded with enthusiasm, sometimes even actively taking part in the project.
