"Scendi in piazza furiosa!" is part of a photographic project called "Palermo Says" by artist Adalberto Abbate. It's a collection of photographs the artist took around the city between 2008 and 2015 with the purpose of showing - through the anonymous messages let on the walls - the tension that pervades society if you just look beneath the surface.
Adalberto Abbate is a Sicilian artist born in Palermo in 1975. He is a versatile artist and his works ranges from photography to sculpture as well as Street Art. He currently lives and works in Palermo.
The common theme in all his work is a deep sociological and anthropological interest, as well as a political one. The artist carefully observes everything that surrounds him, men and society, and represents what he sees in his artworks through a disenchanted and cynical realism.
