When Due is a band from Castelbuono, Italy. Their music can generally be defined as electro-rock, but they also mix in elements from other musical styles. Pendolo is When Due's second album. It's an instrumental Extended Play based on a single theme. A suite divided into five parts, where the loop becomes form of expression and creates harmonies, dynamics and melodies that go around, go back then disappear.
“Once we were in this world, we had more time for ourselves“, says the band. “We entrusted our time to the swing of the pendulum, to better mark the progression of human life, the changing of seasons, the flattering of emotions. By shrinking our space, we became masters of our own cages. That's when we decided to create something that would let people taste a primordial dance, something which we can restrict, but never truly erase“.
